The National Committee for Mathematical Sciences is conducting a mid-term review of the 2016 decadal plan ‘The Mathematical Sciences in Australia: A Vision for 2025’. The Committee is seeking input from the community on the developments in the mathematical sciences over the past five years, how progress has been made towards the vision set out in the decadal plan, and what new and emerging priorities have arisen.

The Committee has put together a consultation document, and invites individuals and organisations to provide input to the review at this webpage.  Consultation is open until 31 May 2021.

A breadth of voices contributing to the review will help strengthen the decadal plan. It is an opportunity to reflect on the state of the mathematical sciences in Australia, and hone the focus areas for the second half the plan’s lifetime.
