The Women in Statistics and Data Science (WiSDS) is a new special interest group providing a dedicated space designed to foster networking, collaboration, and professional growth.  It aims to serve as a hub for joint initiatives, knowledge sharing, and meaningful connections among WiSDS in Australia. A key focus is partnering with like-minded organizations to potentially host joint meetings and events that amplify voices and create opportunities for learning, leadership and mentorship in our field.

It provides opportunities to be a part of a community that takes action to promote and strengthen the representation of women statisticians and data scientists in Australia.
