AEM’s Market Share Statistics Department is excited to announce more details have been settled for the upcoming Annual Statistics Conference.

Scheduled for Sept. 27-29 at Hargrove & Associates’ Minneapolis, Minnesota office, the event will mark the first in-person AEM Annual Statistics Conference in more than three years.

“This year’s conference promises to be an informative, enjoyable and valuable experience for all attendees,” said AEM Senior Director of Statistics Mike Lietke. “Ultimately, the week will also feature much more to do than just participate in the Statistics committee meetings that are so important to our program.”

Register now.

During Wednesday’s General Session, a great lineup of informative segments and engaging speakers will include:

  • Distribution of the Outstanding Merit Awards.
  • A history of Market Statistics at AEM – An organization with history 128 years in the making has long had as one of its central purposes the sharing of market data for the betterment of the industry. This presentation will review that history.
  • An appearance by AEM President Megan Tanel – Tanel, who assumed her role as President of AEM in 2022, will speak on the direction of AEM as an organization and the challenges facing the members we serve.
  • A keynote presentation from Microsoft Solutions Specialist and Portfolio Manager Jen Simon – Simon is a marketing and sales professional who currently manages the Microsoft 365 for Enterprise product in the United States. MS 365 for Enterprise ties together their many apps to enable collaboration and coordination to work from anywhere. Her keynote address will focus on two key topics for attendees: hybrid work at Microsoft and networking in technical fields.
  • An expert panel sharing thoughts and insights on Market Statistics best practices – An interactive session, it’s designed to impart tips and tricks to navigate Statistics and provide value to organizations.
  • Reporting Community Listening Sessions – AEM Senior Director of Association and Service Marketing Steve Suhm will conduct two focus group listening sessions of the reporting community on Wednesday morning (and also Tuesday afternoon). Suhm has led similar sessions at CONEXPO-CON/AGG and other AEM events to get the voice of the members on issues of importance to them. These listening sessions serve to help engage conversation on the current Statistics participant experience and potential ideas for the future of the program.

Add to this the Tuesday afternoon Product Specialist Training Session and Tuesday evening’s social event, and the 2022 AEM Annual Statistics Conference is an event that’s not to be missed.
