Topic: ANZHFR - data presentation for different audiences

Speakers:

Dr Kris Rogers is a biostatistician with over 16 years of experience in health and medical research. He provides expertise in biostatistics to researchers in the Graduate School of Health in clinical and public health research. Kris has used his skills to achieve high-impact publications in The New England Journal of Medicine, The Lancet, BMJ, and PLoS Medicine. He is experienced in a range of study designs including complex surveys, cohort studies with routinely collected data, and clinical trials.

Elizabeth Armstrong is a PhD candidate at UNSW Sydney in the School of Population Health focusing on the development of an adaptable hip fracture model of care for use in resource-limited settings. She has a clinical background in Physiotherapy (University of Sydney), a Master of Public Health (University of Wollongong) and was the Manager of the Australian Hip Fracture Registry (ANZHFR) from 2015 until mid-2021. Elizabeth has a strong interest in the use of data for quality improvement, and the intersection of systems, organisations and individuals in the provision of hip fracture care for older people.
