Volunteers are at the heart of the Statistical Society of Australia (SSA).

Volunteer opportunities are communicated via SSA emails, the website, and branch communications. Some roles involve formal expressions of interest or elections, while others are task-based or short-term. Members interested in volunteering are encouraged to register their interest or contact SSA directly.

Branch, Section and SIG roles

These roles hold honorary positions supporting the governance and strategic direction of SSA. These roles are typically term-based and filled through expressions of interest.
