The Research School of Finance, Actuarial Studies and Statistics (RSFAS), Australian National University (ANU) invites applications for a full-time, continuing position in Statistics at a Lecturer level.

RSFAS features a world-class research and teaching department, having received the highest rating of 5 in the 2018 ERA rankings for Statistics. The successful applicant will join and have the opportunity to collaborate with cutting-edge, world-renown statisticians including Prof Alan Welsh, Dr Janice Scealy, Prof Andrew Wood, and Prof Ross Maller.  

The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to deliver an excellent education experience to students and the ability to produce high quality research in statistics. The RSFAS will provide exceptional research support to enable the successful applicant to achieve their full research potential, including a world-class suite of database subscriptions, excellent seminar series and visitor program, and generous support for travel.
