1) compares rates for deaths from Covid-19 with rates for all deaths, by age;
2) compares rates for deaths from Covid-19, pneumonia alone, & influenza (all), by age category;
3) gives examples of how US age-specific death rates would translate to total death rates in countries with a different, or very different, population age structure.  It is insightful to see what difference the age structure can make.
