SSAI is proud to be a partner organisation of
Big Data 2015
a conference held on 20-21 October 2015 in Sydney. Leaders in healthcare working to harness the power of big data will share their experiences over an informative two-day program which for the first time offers delegates the opportunity to attend master classes. With a strong focus on collaboration, this year’s theme – Big data analytics: Leveraging capability in healthcare – reflects the opportunity for healthcare practitioners, information specialists in healthcare environments, university and research institute scientists to share their knowledge.
Chaired by Dr David Hansen, the conference introduces the emerging trend for personalised healthcare and the groundswell of consumer-collected health data flowing in to the health system, offering both challenges and opportunities for improved – evidence based – patient care. The conference will focus on:
- Value of data
- Population health
- Personalised medicine
- Leveraging what you have
- Personal information/wearables
- Latest research
