News from the QLD Branch – May Meeting

In May. Zarina Vakhitova, from Griffith University spoke on “Using Bayesian Profile Regression to identify groups of lifestyles associated with different types of cyber abuse victimization” .  Zarina Vakhitova is a PhD student (Griffith University)  and is also busy working  at  the Queensland Police Service. specialising in criminology and criminal justice. The recently developed R package PReMiuM was used  by Zarina to fit the Bayesian Profile Regression. Further details are available here. The evening was nicely social with pizza served before the meeting and several new faces, whom we welcome to return.
