Meetings

The branch holds monthly meetings where local and visiting statisticians present seminars covering aspects of their work. Meetings commence at 6:00 pm and are usually held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month in

To find Blakers Lecture Theatre, enter The University of Western Australia at Fairway Entrance 2.  Turn right as soon as you pass the second building on your right.  The entry to Blakers Lecture Theatre is straight ahead across this courtyard.

Members and guests are invited to meet over wine and cheese from 5:30 pm in the Mathematics and Statistics Common Room.  To find the Common Room, enter The University of Western Australia at Fairway Entrance 2.  Turn right as soon as you pass the second building, and walk to the diametrically opposite corner of the courtyard.  Turn slightly to the right and walk under the undercroft towards the other end of the building on your right (ensure that the main oval is on your left).  Just before you reach the end of this building, turn right and enter the double doors.  Walk up the stairs to the first floor, then turn left and then right almost immediately to enter the common room.

Following the meeting all are invited to dine with the speaker at a local restaurant.

Visitors are welcome at all regular meetings.
