University Careers talks - As in 2008, NSW YS will continue running careers talks in some NSW universities in 2009. At these afternoon teas, there will be two speakers; one established statistician and one young statistician from industry.
9th Annual J. B. Douglas Postgraduate Awards (November 2009) - Each year NSW Branch opens up the floor giving postgraduate students from NSW universities the opportunity to present their research. After the talks, prizes will be awarded for the best speakers, followed by guest speaker and the annual dinner.
