Workshop July 2008: Integrating Statistical Ideas into Mathematics

This second workshop in this series was held on 6 August 2008 at Macquarie University. The aim was to bring together those involved with and interested in the development of the secondary school mathematics syllabi to discuss issues involved in educating high school students in:

1. statistical thinking skills in general, and
2. some foundations for the kinds of formal courses in statistics that are nowadays required in many university courses.
