Former ABS head Bill McLennan says employment data ‘not worth paper they’re written on’

Last week Jacob Greber’s of the Australian Financial Review published an article on former ABS head Bill McLennan’s scathing attack on the ABS’ methods of collecting employment data.

McLennan has accused the ABS of badly bungling the way it collects and analyses its monthly employment survey and said parts of it should be dumped immediately for as long as five years.
