Cancer, bacon and misrepresenting statistics

According to the World Health Organisations International Agency for Research on Cancer “The experts concluded that each 50 gram portion of processed meat eaten daily increases the risk of colorectal cancer by 18 percent.”  Bacon may increase your risk of colorectal cancer by a bit, but the Australian Financial Reviews believes that perhaps  the World Health Organisation appears to have been after the best headline.
