The branch holds monthly meetings where local and visiting statisticians present seminars covering aspects of their work. Meetings commence at 6:00 pm and are usually held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month in the Blakers Lecture Theatre at The University of Western Australia (UWA); members and guests are invited to meet over wine and cheese from 5:30 pm, usually in the Blakers Lecture Theatre. (Some meetings may be held at other venues and/or on a different date, for exact details of the time and venue of the next meeting, click here.)
Following the seminar(s), members and guests are welcome to adjourn with the speaker to a nearby restaurant for dinner. The meetings thus provide an excellent opportunity to meet other statisticians both socially and professionally.
Visitors are welcome at all regular meetings.
