Overseas Statisticians visiting Australia

Sarah J Ratcliffe, PhD, Associate Professor of Biostatistics, Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, Philadelphia
will be at Macquarie University until 3 May 2013.

Prof. Mark Handcock (University of California, Los Angeles) will be visiting. He will be in Perth, Canberra, and Sydney from Dec 6-14.  The main purpose of his visit will be to present a keynote presentation at the CSIRO OCE Cutting Edge Symposium on Systems Biology and Network Science, to take place in Canberra on Dec 10-12.

If you know of statistical experts from overseas planning a visit to Australia, please advise the SSAI by sending an email containing the name, details and travel dates of the visitor to eo@statsoc.org.au. We would also need the visitor's email address (not to be published on the website), so that we can ask for his or her permission to put their name up, as well as the name and details of a contact person in Australia.
